Eggless Chocolate Walnut Brownie


Eggless chocolate walnut brownie
Ingredients-
  • Dark chocolate - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  •  Sugar powder - 3/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - approx.1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence/chocolate essence - 1 tsp
  • Crushed walnut /crushed almond - 1/8 cup                     

Method -
  1. Take dark chocolate and butter in a double boiler.Stir continuously until the chocolate melts completely.Pour this mixture into a bowl.Now add sugar and milk into it and stir well.Add vanilla essence.Now wet mixture is ready.
  2. Now we prepare dry mixture .For this take another bowl and sieve maida , baking powder,baking soda,a pinch of salt (if you use unsalted butter).
  3. Grease a baking tin with oil or butter and dust some flour.You can line tin with butter paper .Preheat oven at 180 degree celsius.
  4. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients by using cut and fold method . The batter should be smooth thick consistency.Do not over mix as the cake turns rubbery and chewy.
  5. Transfer the cake better into the baking tin .Decorate it with crushed walnut.Tap the tin.
  6. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 degree celsius for 30 minutes.When it becomes completely cool then cut it into pieces.Serve and enjoy this delicious chocolate brownie as it is or with vanilla ice-cream. 
Tips -
  • Always use all ingredients  on a room temperature.
  • Use good quality dark chocolate.
  • You can use square baking tin.
  • If you use salted butter then no need to add salt.
  • Always cut the dark chocolate into very small pieces before use sothat it melts easily and quickly
  • Cake better should not be in runny consistency.
